    Kid Krrish – The Making of a Superhero

    We’ve seen him in his adult avatar, leaping off buildings, zipping across the city skyline, dawning his black cape and mask. Now it’s time we met the younger him, the story of how it all started revealed. The genesis of Indian’s original superhero presented as an animated feature for the first time. And this is going to be the first of four features to be aired on Cartoon Netwrok on the 2nd of October. This venture is the combined effort of three power houses FilmKraft, Turner and Toonz animation, written by HopMotion’s very own Carmen Zainabadi and Anish Patel. This is also the first time ever a live action film is being adapted into an animation feature for kids instead of it being the other way around.

    Kid Krrish isn’t only stellar looking but also promises to have all the power packed in it. It promises to engage and entertain kids as the young superhero battles the badies. With its share of laughs and action kids will have their first original superhero, a symbol they can look up to, someone who through his choices instill a clear sense of right and wrong. The character of Krishna is one every child can identify with and it his goodness that enables him to tap into the superhero in him. Krishna is accompanied by his gang of quirky friends and yes let’s not forget Jadoo. Jadoo and the other aliens who help Kid Krrish in his adventure.

    So let the countdown begin and get strapped in for the ride. It’s time… Hoppo says Superpowers Activated.
