ANISH PATELBusiness Head Content Development
A self-induced trance atop a steep mount of a dormant volcano is all it took Anish Patel to conceive the idea for the toon-tank that is HopMotion. After graduating from Film school in California, Anish wandered the global media landscape. Rumor has it that he broke bread with many giants from the film and TV universe around the world until he found his answer in the media wilderness of India. From here Anish built HopMotion block by block, from a team of 5 fierce and talented master strokesmen and women it has now grown to a team of 50 and counting. Honestly Anish would run Hopmotion from a tree house if he had to. As of now he is busy keeping a bird’s eye view on the many operations of Hopmotion. Living it, breathing and tooning away.
CARMEN ZAINABADISenior Writer
Born under a Chikoo tree in a tiny coastal town, Carmen put quill to quire from an early age. But many say that the real secret of her power lies in a Rajasaurus egg her grandmother gifted her on her Navjote ceremony. The egg still lays hidden somewhere under a chikoo tree amongst the many farms in the town while Carmen continues to write for film, TV and web drawing on its power and spreading it across Hopmotion. Often conjuring up that very energy to rouse the writers that she collaborates with. A yarn spinner, a tale teller and a witty narrator, Carmen would do well in an age where stories were the dominant currency.
It takes a technical wizard to keep a toon-tank like Hopmotion pumping and alive. But this wizard doesn't spot a beard nor carry a magical staff. When Anish and Carmen met Neel they knew they had found their technical wizard. They convinced Neel to bring his rare super fuel to make HopMotion go full throttle. And that’s exactly what he did! This super fuel comes from Neel’s fifteen years of experience in everything from game programming to mastering the trends and bends of digital 2D animation. All troubleshooting at HopMotion is handled by this wizard and while Neel’s never been seen to use any kind of magical wand or staff to do so, there is a serious suspicion that he may have five more hands hidden that he magically manifests when needed on and off the production floor.
